JURY COMMENTS
"This well-defined geometry, the precise reading forms propose a clarity almost contradictory to the concept, which can be found downright hallucinatory. The interplay of light and shadow guides the user through a beautiful journey that accentuates the verticality of the scheme. "
-Andreea Felciuc
"REALLY NICE graphics + geometries // design slightly too complex to remain interesting // maybe you could have described a single theme or emotion from the film instead of the full story?"
-Lawrence Daykin
"A fantastic project! I really appreciate the way the entire form gels in with the environment. The monochromatic color pallete alongside the organic form that seamlessly explains the plot of the concept and its inception is commendable. "

JURY COMMENTS
"The playful layout proposes a unique journey designed to take the visitor through a plethora of emotional and psychological states. Despite its industrial feel, both in terms of plan and materiality, the 'clean' spaces created could overwhelm with their apparent simplicity, making a strong impression on the psyche."
-Andreea Felciuc
"great graphics // great presentation // great concept // but unfortunately your proposal is a concrete maze of passageways?
conceptually very strong but infact you do not consider circulation but instead create a linear journey // emotion isn't linear"
-Lawrence Daykin
"A very interesting take on the idea of pathways and translating mundane daily experiences into relevant emotional experiences instead. The design development could have been made stronger through rigorous process work but an overall well addressed design."

JURY COMMENTS
"What initially appears to be an amalgamation of forms into which the eye would barely penetrate, even a body, proves to be an extremely welcoming and overwhelming space - it is an extremely 'human' idea, capturing the complexity of emotions that never assume a simple relationship - why would they find their place in a simple space?"
-Andreea Felciuc
"Using the plot of film as the influence for an architectural form is very interesting // and so is designing in non-gravity // however your design seems to follow an unclear logic which is hard to follow // how did you make your specific design decisions?
Graphically interesting geometries but your presentation does not allow this to shine through and feels too complicated - emphasise the strong graphics of your design."
-Lawrence Daykin
"A very interesting take on the concept of the movie. However, translating that into a physical space is still ambiguous. The form is overall very interesting and reminds me of Mc Esther's works however the relevance of architectural spaces is still unclear. A very conceptually strong project. "

JURY COMMENTS
"A continuous, superfluous and fluid space, with strikingly different viewing points which proposes a myriad of relationships space-to-space, user-to-space but also user-to-user. "
-Andreea Felciuc
"A clear intention and well executed // beautifully simplistic design // i am glad that you chose a journey from two opposing emotions instead of illustrating all of the emotions!
I particularly like pensiveness
Why did you choose that particular site?"
-Lawrence Daykin
"The manner in which the design development has been executed alongside the site is commendable. The form however could be explored further in terms of materiality with relevance to the site"

JURY COMMENTS
"As a whole, the way through reads to be more than surprising, offering distinct and inspiring perspectives to go through. The idea is based on a compelling concept, but the geometry of the ensemble is extremely cutting, almost making you wonder if it is an uncontrolled and unwanted gesture. "
-Andreea Felciuc
"I love the graphic presentation // however it is not always easy to understand the message you are trying to tell us // I am glad you wanted the space to be somewhere that people explore and use in their own way and it wasn't too prescriptive // nice choice of site."
-Lawrence Daykin
"An overall satisfactory design solution. The design overall lacked resolution in terms of catering the emotions described as the 'old and the new'. It was difficult to understand how the proposed space is a breakaway from the tense metropolitan life with equally massive forms being proposed as spaces to escape from the stressful metropolitan lifestyle and emotions. "

JURY COMMENTS
"What I’m reading to be the core idea - Ephemeral, abstract, resembling a labyrinth from Eden – is a great manner to deciphering the brief. Even if rich in sensorial environments and experiences, the symmetry and repetition of the corner module might cut short the curiosity and chance encounter needed in such environment. One might wonder if a degree of transformation from straightness, orthogonal shapes to more undulating shapes could mitigate and enhance the surprise of ‘what is around the corner’. "
-Andreea Felciuc
"I love your photomontage work // unfortunately your understanding of modular design and the golden ratio is a little naïve // a vast monumental structure is very interesting but its unclear why it must be so vast and concrete?"
-Lawrence Daykin
"An overall weak project. There are too many concepts that have been overlayed without any evident rationale or connection between them. The utilisation of the golden ratio amidst a plethora of emotiosn that have been targeted is also not evident in the physical manifestation of the overall form of the museum. "
