Competition Introduction
Artuminate Competition Organisers are asking architecture enthusiasts to submit designs for a museum that helps to understand the impact of different architectural spaces on the human mind.
Reconnecting architecture with emotions and feelings can improve the quality of life. Architecture has an impact on human emotions, followed by behavior. Humans act, think and feel differently with changes in architectural space. It is important to design spaces with positive emotions to create a comfortable and humanistic architectural space.
Contemporary architecture has started to receive more accusations of emotional coldness, restrictive aesthetics, and distancing from humans and life (Pallasmaa, 2015).
Purpose:
To understand the effectiveness of environmental and design variations upon human emotions.
Objective:
To understand the impact of different architectural spaces on the mind.
To identify emotions and the environmental changes required for well-being.
